Yay, this is the last of the magic items. lol
Clan Skyre Gear of War:
Brass Orb: One use. Throw it 8", as a stone thrower, misfire center it over yourself. Models touched must take a Initiative test or be destroyed (no save of any kind allowed). Look out Sir works. So...don't run in front of this with your Chaos Lord on a Dragon? lol
Doomrocket: One use. Weirdo gear. Roll between 4 and 10 dice, that's how far it goes and a large S5 blast template is placed (again, any model touched is wounded). If you roll 3 or more 1's, you misfire. 1, place template on yourself (fun!), 2-5, roll scatter die to see where the rocket is really being fired (more amusement), and 6, it 'plants' in place (hitting any model under the mark with a S5 hit) and every Skaven shooting phase...on a 4+, it finally blows up. Highly amusing. Really, it's not a bad little item at all. I think in armies with 2 Warlock Engineers, one will have a Condenser and the other will have this. Free artillery? Who's gonna say no?
Death Globe: One use. Same as the Brass Orb, only it causes a wound on a 4+ with no armour save allowed. I like this as it's fairly cheap but great for bombing Knights.
Warlock Optics: Add +1 to BS, and no penalty for firing at targets in cover. Decent enough, will at least make people think twice before running a magic user off by itself if you are likely to get shot by a Warlock Engineer. lol
Clan Pestilens Befouled Items:
Warp Scroll: One use only, bound level 5. Range 24", cast on any unit visible, inflicts S2 hits on every model with no armour saves allowed. Combine with some toughness reducing spells, and this is a nasty effect. Note it's not a magic missile, so casting it into combat will really hurt. Late game surprise, indeed. :)
Plague Banner: One use, magic standard, CC phase only. All plague monk models can re-roll to-hit and to wound. Combine with death frenzy + charge for mass destruction.
Clan Moulder Beast Prods:
Shock-Prod: Requires 2 hands, ignores armour saves, magic weapon. Not a bad little item for 25 points really.
Electro-Whip: Gives D3 attacks instead of 1, is a 'Whip'. Also not a bad little extra for these guys to have available. I suspect this one will be more prevalent (auto-take?) than any other item on Moulders.
Magic Standards:
Sacred Banner of the Horned Rat: All enemy within 12" suffer a -1 penalty to their leadership, and any enemy units in base contact with the bearer can be forced to re-roll successful LD tests. So Skaven can give you a -2 modifier to LD fairly easily, and make you re-roll passes. Gee.
Storm Banner: Activate at the beginning of any turn, no flying movement allowed, -2 to missile fire, and non-magical missile attacks that don't use BS to hit (so cannons, stone throwers, etc) need to roll a 4+ before they can fire. Quite nasty really. Every player turn after, on a 4+ the effects end. I think this was intended to be used...every turn. I could be wrong, but it looks like the wording was intentionally changed.
Grand Banner of Clan Superiority: If you outnumber the enemy in rank count, add D3 combat res instead of 1. Yeah, Skaven CC armies...here they come. lol
Shroud of Dripping Death: All enemy models in base contact with the bearer take S3 hits no armour save every CC phase. If the unit breaks and you pursue, you take D6+2 S3 hits with no armour saves immediately. Not sure how that might work if you die from these hits before pursuing. lol Great item for baiting enemies and running away. ;)
Banner of the Under-Empire: All units in base contact with the unit bearing this banner suffer 2D6 S2 automatic hits every CC phase, distributed per shooting. Not a bad little item really. I expect to see this on things like Plague Blocks. Unbreakable + toughness reducing spells + this = lolz.
Dwarf-Hide Banner: Dumb. You hate Dwarves. Good. Dwarves hate you. Time to charge me, stunties! =) lol
Banner of Verminous Scurrying: Once per battle, start of friendly turn only (and not the first one), you can activate the banner to triple march forward. You take 2D6 S3 hits with no armour saves allowed, per shooting. Definitely an interesting item, you probably want this on a clanrat unit as stormvermin are a bit pricey for this. ;)

I'm told non-english versions of Storm Banner retain the one use only, but I could be wrong.
Otherwise it's fucking retarded.
I've heard the same about the Storm Banner. I'll go with the English version myself, it could be that the translators had to work with an older playtest copy or they got too familiar with the last army book.
It's nasty either way.
My Furnace unit has the Banner of the Underempire and the Priest is carrying a Warp Scroll. It's disgusting lol
