So been very busy making the house presentable. First floor is pretty much done.
Sadly, as part of that, we had to put the mother-in-laws dog down. Lots of stress over that, but can't have someone else's blind old dog pissing and whining in the new house.
Second floor is still a bit of a mess, but it's improving every week. We plan on having the family here for Thanksgiving. I'm sure that will be a real joy. ;) I wanted a couple out-of-state buddies and my back-east family to come, but can't seem to make that work. =|
I want to have an open house and invite the locals over, not sure when to do it though--or if anyone would show up. lol
Oddly, today I got to rake the lawn. Really made the place feel like less of a hotel, more of a home.
Funny how back breaking work makes a place feel like home. :p
Well, off to watch some NFL games and see what the wife wants to do, then maybe I can blog about some useful things like those ratmen. Little bastards keep giving me the slip.
Oh and what is up with good PC games finally coming out--it's been so long, but now that I'm unemployed they seem to be jumping out of the woodwork? Thank you, G-d. lol I never had a chance to try Borderlands out despite having a beta invite, but that's also a hell of a lot of fun. So is LFD2, man I'd kill to lan game that shitfest with some friends. You shot me motherfucker! Die! lol

Summer is always a dry season for video games, all the producers think they're games will sell more during the christmas season, which means a potentally good game gets drowned out over the triple A titles of the year. A shame really.
Yeah, L4D2 looks like a blast. A bunch of us are getting together next weekend to LAN the shit out of it. You're welcome to come--all the caffeinated beverages you can drink, but airfare's on you. Deal?
Anyone wanna join with me for the demo of L4D2?
Steam ID is yWizePapaSmurfy
Danny: Aren't you in NY or something? lol
I would, but no job + wife + new house = yeah right. ;)
I'll make an appearance Danny, I'm in NY :P
I don't have a good PC tho, so I'll be playing all those new smexy games on my 360
