Guardian Jetbikes x3 (These stay in reserves and come on to contest or capture an objective towards the end of the game.

    Heavy Support
x3 Fire Prisms (I think these guys can do alot with the combo of the 3 plus Eldrad)

    Point Total is 1749

Is it good or does it have some errors (I probably murdered this list... and not in a good way lol) ? I have heard good things of this type of list...
    Reply:

Drop the small Guardian Jetbike unit, get more Rangers for that unit.

The Prisms should have Shuricannons if at all possible.

Eldrad is out of place.  Try Maugen Ra instead.  Yes, really.

Drop Mind War, get both sets of Runes.

Give it a whirl, report back!

Thanks for the advise. I have a couple of other ideas I will just post here rather than in a new E-Mail:

    1. Instead of Eldrad would a foot farseer be good to chill with the pathfinders. He would guide one ofthe fire prisms and forture the unit of pathfinders after the first turn (the first turn he would fortune the Seer Counsel).

    2. Would replacing the Pathfinders with something else be better. I have had others tell me too... Are they just stupid? or right?

    3. Would adding some spears to the seer council be good to try to pop open a transport before I charge it?

    1) Sure, but I think Maugen Ra is better. He gives you a nice shooty element for your Pathfinders.

    2) They aren't stupid by any means. There aren't many other units to sit back and hold objectives that are as resilient. Flamers will kill them off, but where Eldrad isn't really scary...Maugen Ra is.

    3) Nope. Use Fire Dragons.

    1. Ok I see where you are going with Maugan Ra. He has his own personal DOOM (Crack Shot), can fire more if he doesn't wanna reroll wounds, make the Pathfinders fearless, and is a beast in CC with 4/5 S6 power weapons attacks at I7. Right?

    2. Yeah thats why I took them because I would try to destroy all the things that would destoy them and so on and so forth.

    3. I see the brilliance of the fire dragons but IDK if I have the points for them.

    1) Correct.

Fearless means they gotta kill the Pathfinders to a man, which usually means lots of flamers at once or assault.

Phoenix Lords are no joke in CC. A tactical squad (which can normally take pathfinders out by charging them) will be squished by a Phoenix Lord.

He also gives the Pathfinders a better gun option, consider him a heavy weapon in a sniper squad--but instead of being crap, it's awesome. While it doesn't happen often, denying cover saves to marines and then rending them means dead marines. Against light infantry, he's a terror since he hits on 2+, wounds on 2+, and so can kill half a squad by himself when denying cover.

He also gives a decent anti-vehicle punch. It's not awesome, mind you; but against targets pathfinders can hurt (like rhinos and speeders) he really helps take the squad from soso threat to moderate threat.

Maugen Ra makes pathfinders good enough against the light vehicles and infantry to not make your pathfinders a 'I hope it works' unit that can't really do much.

He also gives you really good odds of causing pinning tests on just about everyone with a pathfinder unit (his gun causes pinning too).

    2) Don't try to 'save' your units. Bad way to play. Focus on killing the enemy. Threat priority is fine, but remembering the goals of the mission is key to winning. Otherwise we'd all have shooty lists on empty tables. ;)

    3) Most Eldar armies should have 2 units of Fire Dragons if at all possible, and a transport for them. Nothing else is going to keep nasty enemy units away like they will.

Stelek, could you explain why Telion is so good with scouts the way you have for maugen ra? I would love to hear what you feel the best use for him is. I guess the obvious is giving your ML BS6 when you are tank sniping, but what would you prioritize for his sniping attacks? Also, how does his wound allocation work, do you put his wounds on after the opponent has allocated the rest?

Stelek, I have one more question...

Is their a way to turbo boost the jetbike counsil while keeping the Farseer with them?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes. Run another Farseer, have him fortune the seer council and it's attached Farseer...

    Uhm...

I just can't see in the codex how Maugen Ra can make Pathfinders/rangers fearless.

He is fearless, they aren't so he can't confer that special rule as per BRB.
("However, as long as a fearless
character stays with a unit that is not fearless, he loses
    this special rule.")

He can make his aspect warriors fearless. And can only join them.

Pathfinders/rangers aren't his special kind of friend. And thats why he can join them.
But that's also why he cannot make them fearless.

Or am I not seeing something?

    Ps.
Sorry for the english, I hope to have made my point clear.
