If you want to spend hundreds of dollars and get a LOT of them, then I'd say yes, it'll surprise people.
Run it at the enemy and giggle.
Better be playing 2000 points though. Raptors are expensive.

Question: Wouldn't it be better to split the raptors into 3 squads so that you could get a couple more melta guns?
...and that's why I've made money selling off my old Assault Marines to chaos players. Slightly more cost-effective, and you can also get away with ordering jump pack bits packs and slapping 'em on guys.
I second Tim's question, though. I'm also wondering why there are no icons on the raptors. I mean, I think Khorne or Chaos Glory would go well here. Khorne means never having to regret cranking out 51 normal attacks and 4 powerfist attacks on the charge.
Hell, do that and you might as well bring green dice and make ork noises.
You want big Raptor squads so you don't take morale checks very often.
You don't need a mark. How dead does the other guy need to be?
