Lijit Search updated

By Stelek

Looks like John got the search from Lijit adhering to site colors and working better than before.

Hopefully we can get that recent readers thing added back, I liked it. :)

Anyway it appears the 'search' results are hosted by Lijit and thus might not be color codable so that horrid white might stay.

But it looks like people are using it, and it appears to be a better search than before.

Hopefully we can get that multiple tag search implemented but I'm not sure if it will work with me hacking the shit out of my template. lol

At any rate, it does look like putting in multiple search terms does pop up posts labeled appropriately, so for now maybe that will work for you guys and gals.

Let me know what you think of it so far please. :)

Hi Stelek,

I really liked the links column on the right side, where did it go? It was much easier to find what I was looking for. I also liked the links to a certain month in year 2007, 2008...
Maybe just implement a link to the best of lists if you guys don't want to add the old link columns back.

Now, when I search for Best of space marines (I tried: best of, best of marines, space marines, 'best of' and 'marines') I get 4 pages of related articles but not the original article which I was looking for.

I need to see it again as I think there were some tactics in it. I tried the Best of Marines list for the first time yesterday (first time I play marines ever...) and got totally annihilated against a double lash prince 3*oblits list (he destroyed or exploded 6 vehicles with 6 units in turn 2 :/ wtf...).

I second Alpharius.

Although the search found me a list I had never read here before. I never did manage to find the one of the "Best of" lists that I like to look at on occasion.

The new search is great, but the old links were nice too.

Either way, thanks for all the HARD work you put into this BLOG.

I miss the tags by army/subject as well :( And having an index by month was super helpful for when you knew the general time of something you wanted to look up, but couldn't find by searching.
