Hi there,
I have been recently considering collecting lizardmen. It will be my first ventures into fantasy as aposed to 40k, and i havent got a clue when it comes to good units/abilities, i really dont know much, which is why... if its ok with you, if i leave the army list to you.
Okay so I only have one request, the army doesnt have to be gt standard, but real hard. Just not ridiculous, for example think of cost and practicality... please?
It would be great if you could help me out.. and if pos if you have any extra time, just a little info on how the list you have come up with works, what it strengths are and so on.

p.s i dont know much about it - seems you know quite a bit about web stuff - but how would a live-chat work like people could just sign in, and chat to each other on your sight... just a suggestion anyway, cheers. Mike.

Once the first set of 'fixes' are done, some kind of chat is probably on the list. Right now it's 1v1 chat and I'd like to get more generalized chat. Maybe a shout box or something, dunno.
While I enjoy my Lizardman army, if I was to make another list...I'd probably go with a Stegadon list as the model is really nice and the in-game effects match.
The thing you have to ask yourself is, how far towards Stegadons do you want to go.
You can run a list like this:
Priest, Ancient.
Skinks.
Skinks.
Skinks.
Stegadon.
Stegadon.
Stegadon.
Stegadon.
Rare Ancient.
Rare Ancient.
It's a bit one sided, but it IS a whole bunch of annoying bullshoi monsters. lol
You can also run Lord Mazdamundi if you like, he comes with a Stegadon and most armies don't like sending characters in to kill him as he tends to blow their magic weapons up. ;)
That's a 5 Stegadon army.
Anyway, this is how I'd make a Stegadon heavy army that has balance to it.

Why are the skink priests not on stegadons? Engines of the God's are so ridiculously powerful, especially when you have multiples of them. Two of them into a unit and then doing the flare at the same time(no restriction on doing it in combat). Also does a lot of damage to warmachines/characters/people not in a unit. The level 3 gives you that additional dispel dice which also helps a lot.
I think the first turn move up and bubble, second turn charge/flare is very hard to deal with.
Might also consider a Skink Chief on a stegadon with a warspear. 2d6 impact hits is rough for any unit and makes your general stronger than a priest.
