Hi, happy new year!

I have in few days a local tournament, and althoug i am a usual tyranid player for this in particular i would like to run a marine army, but my painted models are very few, both in marines and in other extras, so finally i had reach the idea of playing a Cfists army with some veterans, due to the cost xD. I not very optimistic about it, moreover since i haven´t played no BT marines this edition.

As always, thanks in advance!

The Vets are walking, I take it? This strikes me as bad. At least Pod them. Lysander is giving them a better first strike capability than normal Vets, but in the end...once caught in CC, your Veterans are not as effective. I'd reduce the Vets to one squad with max combi-meltas. With Lysander around they don't really need a sarge with melta weapons but a power fist on him couldn't hurt.

Ditch the other sternguard squad and make it a 3rd tactical squad.

Your tacticals should be equipped with missile launchers not heavy bolters.

Flamer/missile or melta/missile is fine, you should probably keep them together instead of combat-squad'ing.

The tacticals don't need power weapons. A meltabomb on the sarge is fine.

If the LRC does not have Extra Armor, it should.

Hope that helps. :)
